The Hudson Union is located in northeast North America. It takes up 1/3 of U.S and Canada. Its climate is influenced by continentality, ocean currents, and mountain barriers. Chicago, Hudson's capital, is far away from any oceans so its climate varies from harsh winters to mild summers. The hot, wet air from the Pacific loses its humidity when passing through the Rockies, resulting in dry air masses. On Hudson's east coast, the climate is heavily influenced by the gulf stream from the Gulf of Mexico. The climate is slightly warmer due to that.
